Super Junior performs “Highway Romance” on Music Bank

‘Music Bank’ kicked off its new episode today with a special Chuseok stage from Super Junior!

Dressed in colorful hanboks (Korean traditional clothes), the boys performed a fun cover of “Highway Romance” for their screaming fans. Ditching their aggressive “Mr. Simple” image, Super Junior simply had fun for this performance, as they jumped around, held hands, and waved enthusiastically to their fans. Afterwards, they gave the audience a traditional greeting by bowing on the stage.

Yesung’s amusing dance on ‘Come To Play’

On June 27th, K-pop performers such as TVXQ’s Changmin, Super Junior’s Lee Teuk, Eunhyuk, Shindong and Yesung along with SNSD’s Yuri, Tiffany, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon, f(x)’s Sulli and Krystal starred in the special episode of MBC’s entertainment program ‘Come To Play‘.

During the ‘Closet Talent Show‘ segment of the episode, cast members were divided into gender specific groups and held a dance battle against each other. Eunhyuk and Hyoyeon mastered the famous signature move of Michael Jackson (moon walk) leaving everyone amazed.

Soon after, Shindong, Tiffany, Sulli, and Krystal continued on with the battle. However, the best dance was saved for last, which featured Super Junior’s quirky cutie, Yesung.

Yesung’s unidentifiable but energetic dance couldn’t be described in words and his antics left everyone in the crowd bursting in laughter.

Watch as Yesung both terrify and amaze at the same time with his unique dance below!

Super Junior wants you to have a “Taste of Korea”!

Earlier this month, we shared that Super Junior was selected as honorary ambassadors for Korean cuisine, and now they’ve finally revealed a CF featuring Leeteuk, Shindong, Heechul, and Yesung.  With their characteristic friendliness and humor, the four shared their “secret” recipes for bibimbap, a Korean dish that mixes rice, fresh/cooked vegetables, meat, and gochujang (chili pepper paste).

What went into their bowls?  Leader Leeteuk made bulgogi bibimbap (marinated, barbeque beef);Shindong created samgyupsal bibimbap; Heechul made beef bibimbap; and finally, Yesung made chicken bibimbap.

At the end of the CF, the members encouraged everyone to try bibimbap before digging into their own bowls.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Super Junior without some funny outtakes at the end, and as usual, the boys did not fail to provide some giggles.  Towards the end of the clip, Shindong breaks out into a short, but nonetheless comical rendition of Secret’s “Madonna“, before abruptly cutting himself off with a stern, “Gil Ra-im-shi“.  He walks off camera singing “Appear” by Kim Bum Soo, and the rest of the members follow suit, with “Secret Garden” references abound.  Heechul parodies the squeaky, “You’ve got a text” message, and Leeteuk closes with Kim Joo-won’s famous quote – “Since when has our audience been so pretty?

Check out the clip below!

GoodWill & MGI , an American-Finnish production company that is working with famous artists such as AkonJustin Bieber50 Cent and Pitbull, has made a deal with ELF’s on Twitter regarding the production of a track for Super Junior.

GoodWill & MGI first caught the attention of SuJu fans when it was discovered that the company hadproduced a new track for the group titled, “Gotcha Numba,” set to drop later this year.

The Twitter conversation started when various ELF’s tweeted GoodWill, urging him to write a song forSuper Junior. After spending a good couple of hours teasing ELF’s and throwing the name Super Junior around in their tweets with hilarious responses such as, “Who is better — Super Junior or Justin Bieber? Tough question!!!” and “TOUGH QUESTION — What’s better: Super Junior or…pizza?!”, GoodWill and MGI have come up with a deal for all ELF’s.

In response to the flurry of ELF followers asking GoodWill to produce a song for Super Junior, he stated,“I wont forget our deal — if @goodwillbeats and @mgiproducer each get 1000 followers this wk, then we’ll make a song for SUJU fans in Feb!”, making ELF’s all around the world ecstatic.

It’ll be exciting to see if ELF’s can really pull this off! If this deal does come to life, who needs entertainment companies anymore to negotiate deals with producers?
