SHINee’s Taemin and Minho transform into robots for ‘Vogue’

SHINee‘s Taemin and Minho have delighted fans with their fun pictorial for Vogue magazine.

Dressed in colorful, cleverly layered outfits with different textures and lengths, the two idols transformed into robots and cyborgs. The photoshoot took place just before SHINee had to leave for the ‘2011 K-Pop Music Fest in Sydney‘ earlier this month.

A representative from ‘Vogue’ stated, “After returning from London, SHINee returned shortly to Korea, and we ended up having the shoot amidst their busy schedule with advertisements and the like, [I don’t know] if it was because they haven’t been in a fashion magazine in a while, but Minho and Taemin were both assertive and positive.”

Taemin and Minho’s full photoshoot will be revealed in the December issue of ‘Vogue’.

TVXQ finally unveiled their first album in two years and three months on January 5th, and they left meaningful messages of gratitude towards their fellow SM artists for their constant support during their public absence.

Yunho wrote, “Kangta hyung and Min Jong hyung, who always kindly teaches me even the minor things, the know-it-all but humane BoA, the Super Junior members who own every kind of charm, the vocally talented CSJH The Grace members, the most moral men, TRAX, cute mascots SNSD, pretty Ara and Yeon Hee, awesome actor Jong Yoon Hyung, SHINee, who are no different to my younger brothers, maknae f(x), thank you all for giving me strength and supporting me.”

Changmin wrote, “To our company who sent us applauses of encouragement, and to all of our awesome, pretty, talented and kind seniors and juniors, thank you all! The most handsome man in the universe, Lee Jinki ^^ Fishing King Kim Jong Hyun ^^ Key Kibum or KeyBum, Choi Minho, who overflows with richness like a son from a rich middle-east oil company family ^^, Prince Taemin, who owns everything a man needs, and all the other hoobaes, thank you.”

Meanwhile, TVXQ are set to make their official comeback on KBS Music Bank on January 7th.

Which “Invincible Youth” members received a back hug from SHINee’s Taemin?

SHINee’s Taemin, who joined an episode of KBS 2TV’s “Invincible Youth” in place of Victoria, gifted a back hug to some lucky members of the show.

On this episode (set to be broadcasted on December 3rd), the cast members learned how to make a few traditional Korean dishes including mumalengi (dried slices of daikon) and cheonggukjang(fermented bean paste).

As soon as Taemin made his appearance, the members welcomed him with open arms and some even began plotting to steal him from the ‘cheonggukjang team’ for the ‘mumalengi team.’

They later began requesting, “Please give a back hug to the member that catches the daikon slices you throw.”

Only two lucky members were chosen for this special gift, but viewers must stay tuned to the December 3rd episode to find out who!

SHINee’s Taemin growth surprises fans

Compilation pictures of SHINEE’s Taemin’s explosive growth spurt has been creating buzz amongst netizens.

Since his debut at 16 years old, he’s matured quickly in a short amount of time, easily seen through the group pictures SHINee has taken over the years. In 2008, Taemin was a part of the shorter end of the group, but now he looks to be around the same height as the team’s tallest, Minho (181 cm).

Year by year, the difference in height between Minho and Taemin grows smaller, making fans look on with ‘motherly/fatherly’ feelings.

Fans commented, “This is the maknae’s explosive growth,” “Taemin, you haven’t stopped growing yet! Keep going!” and “If he keeps going like this, he can surpass Minho in height!”
